Surround Yourself With Winners
WELCOME BACK. The scripture says “The one who associates with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm” (Proverbs 13:20NET). We want to draw our lessons from King Solomon the wisest and the richest man who ever lived. He said, “Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life destroy and scatter. He was both the wisest and richest man in the world, during the time he was on the earth. How much do you think an hour with him would be worth? You see, winners don’t do different things. They do things differently. When you surround yourself with positive and dynamic people who are moving forward with their lives, you will be challenged to do things differently. It’s vital to surround yourself with those who are wise who know where they are going in life. Don’t be afraid or too arrogant to surround yourself with those who are doing much better than you, because they could definitely push and stretch you to discover your hidden capacity. The better you are at surrounding yourself with people of high potential, the greater your chance for success. If you have great people around you, they will take you higher than your dream will. Leaders are never self-made. Those closest to you determine your level of success, so choosing the right companions as partners in pursuit of your vision is an utmost decision. My advice to you is to surround yourself with talented people who will challenge you, help you grow and inspire you to maximize your potential. God filled you with the mentality to succeed. He equipped you with possibilities, creativities and amazing potentials. All you need do is to stir up the greatness in you by surrounding yourself to those who have succeeded in life. Negative people deplete your energy and ensure your failure rate. But great people brings out what is in you and launch you to a life of affluence and excellent. Therefore, surround yourself with love, nourishment, and do not allow the creation of negativity in your environment.
Zig ziglar
Zig ziglar in one of his meeting said “Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don’t hang around long enough for his/her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people”. Wow! This is very profound! It means that you keep away from people who are trying to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. It’s all about who you surround yourself with. You have to be comfortable with yourself and have friends who accept you for who you are. Also, do something that you’re passionate about. When you find out what you’re good at and you do it, that gives you confidence. Confidence can be developed and reading an inspiring articles like this can teach you in an instant something that others have learned in a lifetime. Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of greatness. It’s important to surround yourself with good people, interesting people, young people, young ideas. Go places, learn new stuff. Look at the world with wonder and possibilities, don’t be tired about it. Surround yourself with smart, dedicated people, to build something isn’t a one-man show. It’s more important to have smart people who really believe in what you’re doing than really experienced people who may not share your dream. You have to understand that everybody has their own struggles, regardless of whether or not you can see it. Just surround yourself with people who love you, and know that you’re not alone. God is with you. Remember, invest your own time and invest your own resources into creating a better life, not only for yourself but for the people around you.
