Evaluate Where You Are In Life

Posted on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says “Examine me, O Lord, and test me! Evaluate my inner thoughts and motives (Psalm 26:2NET). Evaluation of where you are in life requires reconsideration of who you think you are. It also requires to reassess where you came from and where you are going. Principles do not change. Principles helped us to recognized the fact that where we are in life is a proof of your desire. Life is full of questions and how you live it is your answers. You should always be ready to explore your positive and negative traits by evaluating your real self from time to time. Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude will determine how you’re going to live your life. If things are not effecting your thinking, then they are not effecting your life. Life is a mix of good and bad phases. Make the most of the good times, and never lose hope during the bad times. Attitude is your tendency to evaluate things based on your perception. If you think you can’t, that is a negative attitude parcel and opening it will reveal what you believe. You may explore, you may evaluate but you can’t execute if you are not willing to take action. You see, people may advice you, guide you and evaluate what you do, but bear in mind they can’t think for you. You don’t blame people for not thinking for you; blame yourself for depending on them to do what you must do. You must evaluate your needs. What are they? Are they being met? If not, how can you meet your needs? Look after yourself and your needs before you try and look after others and their needs. You’ll be a lot more effective in whatever you do when you evaluate and assess your life on a daily basis.

Dr Sunday Adelaja

Dr. Sunday Adelaja, founder and senior Pastor of Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God For All Nations said “Humans are supposed to evaluate their lives”. In one of his books titled “Money Won’t Make You Rich. He further said “Evaluate and assess your life on a daily basis”. This makes me to think and acknowledged the fact that evaluation of where you are in life is usually one of the undeniable prerequisite in making a major change. It’s a positive step towards a more suitable career or living situation or even mental attitude. However, it’s making sure that you’re making the right change that seem complicated. You need to make sure you’ve got the right critical framework set up so that you don’t make rash, wrong or just plain dumb decisions. Make an adequate plans that will push you beyond your limits and enable you to discover your true potential. Evaluation of where you are in life is a strategic and practically a way of making right decisions that will catapult you to your next level. Take one step at a time. Goals are not achieved in one giant burst of effort. They come from doing your work consistently. When you’re working toward a big goal, and you’re not sure you can do it, stop thinking about the destination and simply focus on the next step. If the next step feels too big, divide it into smaller steps until you’re confident and excited enough to move forward. Remember, to evaluate is to assess where you are in life or to take a practical action that will enable you to reach your life dreams and goals.
