Attitude Makes All The Difference

Posted on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says “What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you”. First of all, what is attitude? In our today’s article, attitude in this context could be emphasize in different ways: (1) That attitude is a reflection of yourself (2) That attitude is who you are (3) That attitude is an inward feeling expressed by outward behavior and (4) That it is a position of the body or way of carrying out oneself. You see, the way you choose to respond is a reflection of your attitude. By changing your attitude, you change your perspective and you change your life. Attitude is developed when you learned responsibility and accountability through the growth process of life. We learnt that life is a ladder, the higher you climb the higher your responsibilities increases and the more your options decreases. Attitude is the greatest business of life. Your capacity to develop yourself as a person of attitude is the highest achievement of both social, ministry and business life. Your attitude make all the difference, and is the sum total of all your choices and decisions in life. When you have chosen wisely and acted consistently with excellent, you strengthened your attitude and become a better person. This attitude is like a magnet that attracts greatness and fulfillment of your life purpose. What you think you eventually attracts. All you need to do is to watch your attitude because your attitude is the first thing people notice about you in your way to a corporate ladder of success.

David Ibeyeomie said “Your attitude in life is determines by your gratitude of life. In one of his book titled ‘Secrets Of Generational Impact’ He said “Attitude is the historian of your past, the secretary of your present, and the prophet of your future”. He further said: “Whatever you were in the past is because of your attitude. Your attitude is the secretary of whatever is happening now in your life, it is a function of what you did before. Who you are today is a function of your attitude yesterday. And who you will be tomorrow is a result of your present attitude”. Wow!!! Quite fascinating! Which means your attitude is an integral part of your daily living that has the capacity to produce positive thoughts. This attitude in question determines how you look at a setback. To a successful man and woman attitude is a stepping stone to their finances and progress in life. But to an unsuccessful man and woman that have a wrong attitude, it can be a stumbling block that barricade their lives and tie them to a life of regret and reproach. Several years ago, a researched was carried out and it was discovered that the highflyers of our days regularly build a reserve of positive attitude by constantly feeding their mind on the positive things on a daily basis. They acknowledged the fact that if they are going to be faced with the negative consequences of life and that if they have a reserve of positive attitude they will be able to overcome and succeed in their life. These categories of thinkers are not going through life as blinders, but as winners who recognizes their limitations and frustrations, and therefore focuses on their strengths. If you want to be a highflyer, you need to strengthened your positive attitude and get rid of the negative ones. Focus on where you are going, not where you have been. Keep moving ahead, doing whatever it takes. Surround yourself with positive and dynamic people who are moving forward with their lives. Remember, attitude makes all the difference, no matter what comes in your way, don’t let it faze you, and you can overcome anything.
