Persist Until You Succeed

Posted on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not”. It’s imperative to recognized the fact that to persist is to continue despite the challenges of life. This is a key factor that you can leverage upon as a standing opportunity to gain victory and success in any of your endeavour in life. To persist is an undeniable qualities of the successful men and women. The successful men and women achieved extraordinary success simply because they refuse to give up. Persistence make them rise beyond the level of their expectations in life. As others give up and quit the race, the guy who refuses to go away will eventually prevail. This guy will inevitably be the one who breaks the ribbon and takes home the first place trophy. Persistence is a spiritual weapon of attraction that pull down the unseen world to the manifestation of your life reality. No wonder the scripture says let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Persistence breed success which is the sum total of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. Success doesn’t come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. Great achievers achieved great things simply because they refuse to give up. Ross Perot, was a well known billionaire who ran for president in 1992 and 1996. He said that, most people give up when they are just about to achieve a remarkable success. That’s true. People will get almost to the edge of breakthrough and then walk away just when they are about to score the winning touchdown. Sadly, they work hard and then give up because of some little uncertainty on the way or journey of their life. No matter how severe it might be, your storm can’t last forever. Whatever you choose to do with your life, persist until you succeed. If you meet winds and wave on your way to greatness, you have the capacity to ride out the storm like eagles. The truth is, life is always at some turning point.

ROSS PEROT

History has it that successful men and women usually encountered heartbreaking challenges before they succeeded in any area of their life. They succeeded because they refused to become discouraged by their daily defeats. One common trait among them is that they don’t retreat in the face of delay. This strategy is a fact of continuing in a course of action in spite of difficult situation. Sometimes they may encounter what seem to be an overwhelming odds in their life. The going may be tough, but you have to always note that these are examinations which many successful men and women have taken over and over again. You see, quitting is a permanent solution for a temporary problem, because a man who is down can always get back up, but a man who quits will never take another step forward. The scripture says, for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again. The secret is not to quit, the secret is to rise again. If God expect you to fall once in a while how can you expect your life to be a continuous ride of vast achievement? The key to long term success is to keep getting back on your feet and keep stumbling forward. If you can just do that, you will be amazed how far you can go in life. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, one of the pioneers of possibility thinking said, “It’s always too early to quit”. And he was right. As long as there is breath in your lungs and head on your shoulders, you don’t have to accept the way things are. You can always keep pushing on that door until it opens or keep twisting that lid on the jar until it eventually comes off. You can keep on fighting the good fight of faith and running the marathon of life. Remember, if you don’t quit, you will eventually inch your way to the edge of breakthrough and wear the victor’s crown because glory await the persistent.
