Act As If It Were Impossible For You To Fail

Posted on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” In our article today, I want to say that without faith you cannot dare the impossible. What does that mean, it means that you must have the necessary boldness, doggedness or tenacity for something. Achieving the impossible is not for the mediocre, but it is about taking a leap of faith, leaving your comfort zone, and risking failure for the chance of success. Fear of failure is a conditioned learned in childhood. Everyone has a certain amount of this fear. The great achievers is not a man without fear, but a man who acts in spite of his or her fear. When you face your fears and move toward them, they diminish and grow smaller. But when you shy away from the situation you fear, it grows until it can actually dominate your life. Also, when fear of failure is carried too faraway, it can be a major obstacle to your success. The most important way to deal with your fear is to agreed to yourself with energy and conviction that you can never fear or fail. That means, doing the things you fear, confronting your fear and moving toward your fear. Use your specific fear as a challenge, instead of receding away from it or avoiding it, confront it and face it head on.

I learnt a secret I can never forget in my life, from Dorothea Brande many years ago from one of her book titled “Wake Up and Live.” Dorothea Brande wrote about the capabilities that turned her life to 360 degree. She spent the rest of her career speaking and sharing this secret with hundreds and thousands of others, many of whose lives also turned around as a result. And her secret was simply this: “Decide exactly what you want to do, and then, act as if it were impossible for you to fail.” Wow! That was great! Acting as if the fear did not exist. This secret change my life dramatically when I applied it in my life pursuit. You see, if you act as if you are tenacious and courageous, you will begin to feel fearless and determined. Also, when you take responsibilities and control of your thought patterns, you take authority and control of your actions. Always ask yourself, what is the worst possible thing that can happen if I go ahead? Or what is the best possible thing that can happen if I am successful? You would discover that the worst possible thing that can happen is quite small, and the best possible thing that can happen is quite significant. Remember, you can only overcome the fear of failure by moving confidently in the direction of your dreams and acting as if it were impossible for you to fail.
