Possibility Thinking (Part 1)

Posted on

WELCOME BACK The scripture says: “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.” (Philippians 4:8 MSG). I want to emphasize in our today’s article that every great achievement in life is a products of possibility thinking. Those who embrace possibility thinking has the capacity of accomplishing great tasks that seem impossible because they believe in giving solution to a problems. Look for possibilities in any situation around you. One of the master keys to fulfilling your destiny in life is thinking a possibility thinking mind. Those who think well end well. You cannot think failure in your mind and expect to experience success in your life, and you cannot be fearful and attracts wealth in your life either. If you want to change your outer world, you have to begin by changing your thoughts pattern. Your imagination is the reason why you are where you are Now! As a man thinks, so he is. Where you are in life is a reflection of your thoughts. Your thought create your world or environment. You see, your greatest investment in life should not be in your business, but in your mind. Everything you have today or have accomplished in life so far is what your thought patterns had produced for you by your mind. Develop your possibility thinking. Empower your thoughts with a relevant information you required to succeed and let it lead you into your destiny of greatness. Stop thinking the old fashioned way. Reinvent your thinking pattern which has the capacity to transform your life. Transformation begins in your minds. You can’t changed a man until you change his thinking pattern. You can’t also experience any change until your thinking capacity is reinvented or regenerated.

Let me use this opportunity to share a little story with you that I believe will help you to grow from strength to strength and from glory to glory. Mike Tyson, former world heavy weight boxing champion was broke and filled for bankruptcy in 2003. This was in spite of the fact that he became a world champion at the age of 20 and earned a whopping $470 million. Why should he be broke after earning such an amount of money? In our part of the world, we would attribute it to the diabolical work of witches and wizard. However, a close look will reveal that Tyson’s undoing was his thought patterns. Tyson grew up in the slums of Brooklyn, New York. The slum has its own culture (prevailing way of thinking). Unfortunately, when he began to earn millions of dollars, his old fashioned way of thinking remained with him. He did not investi his money or his mind, instead of being an asset he become a liability. Tyson’s story hold a big lesson for you, because how you think determines who you are. If you want to think anything in life, look at what God says you should think. Given the fact that poverty and wrong thinking have become part of our culture, you must find a way to escape this mental trap. The value you place on yourself will affect your behaviour, it will affect your confession and how you treat yourself. Remember, favourable changes begin with a change of thoughts and what you can tolerate you cannot change. Benjamin Disraeli said “Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you never go any higher than you think.” The choice is yours whether your thoughts will be constructive or destructive it will determine the ultimate result of your life. Dr. Bill Newman said, “If you want to be successful you must think until it hurts.” He further said, “Your mind is like a muscle. It must be exercised to grow.” Think possibility, think success, because they enhances your capacity to develop your mindset.
