Reinventing Yourself For Success

Posted on Updated on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says: “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. (Romans 12:2a TLB). In today’s lesson, we want to talk about reinventing yourself for success. Reinventing yourself is one of the prerequisites for transformation. It take the grace of God to reinvent your spirit that triggered divine direction and accomplishment. You need to reinvent yourself to agreed with the word of God. You need to change the way you think, because a low thinking pattern is the reasons for mediocrity and poverty stricken entity. Reinventing yourself for success. What does it mean? It means, to create a new lifestyle that transformed your life. It means, the ability to change your pursuit, because your pursuit is a proof of your desire. It means, to take up a different career or a different way of life. It also means to renew, revitalize, regenerate, reawaken, reaffirm or reactivate yourself for success. Reinventing yourself will automatically place you in a position that will allow you not only to reconstruct your life, but to help you raised your confidence. Dr. Bill Newman said, “If you want to be successful you must think until it hurts.” He further said, “Your mind is like a muscle. It must be exercised to grow.” So, it is time to think what you are thinking about because it is the only way you can draw in what you constantly think about. You will feel the way you think and it is impossible to remain discouraged unless you think discouraging thoughts. Likewise, your success or failure in life begins in your minds and is influenced by what you allow yourself to dwell on. From the scripture above we are told not to copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. If you will reinvent yourself for success, God will transform your life for better.

The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, a writer who led Britain to victory in the second world war Sir Winston Churchill. He said “Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it’s the courage to continue that count.” Success means doing the best you can with what you have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be. You see, life is the way you see it. When you begin to see with the eyes of vision, you’ll understand how to make your vision a reality. Your thought is your bedrock to succeeding in life. When you think positive you think progressive which has the capacity to move you toward greatness. Setting your mind on the higher things of God brings you closer to the things of the above. Most people don’t recognize this fact, but we can choose our thoughts of course. NO one can make you think about something. God won’t do it and the enemy can’t do it either. You decide what exactly you will do in your mind. What are you allowing your mind to dwell on? Are you focused on your challenges? Are you persistently dwelling on negative things? How you view life makes the difference in your world. Benjamin Disraeli said “Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you never go any higher than you think. ” The choice is yours whether your thoughts will be constructive or destructive and it will determined the ultimate result of your life. The way you think affects your behaviour and how you see things, it also affect your attitude and how you react in your environment. Remember, change will not take place unless your mind is reinvented. If you think mediocrity, you will be a mediocre and if you think success, you will be successful. Be wise!
