An Intensity Of Joy

Posted on Updated on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says: Now, may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13). I want to emphasize that joy is another undeniable pathway to living your destiny. Many people have dreams but few have enough joy to follow through and see the dream become a reality. Also, many can talk about their dream all day long but when it comes to backing their dream with action, they falter and fail. They have no joy to fuel and ignite their dream. The question is: What does joy mean in this context? (1) It means to be fill with God (2) It means to be full of passion and zeal (3) It means to be consumed by the thoughts of your dream to the extent that you are ready to go all out for it. You see, a dream without joy is like a hot iron without fire. Let me burst whatever bubble you may have in your head about having a fantastic dream. Dreams mean nothing until they are set on fire with an intensity of joy. Dreams wither and fade away without an intensity of joy to see them become a reality. That’s why to become successful is to become joyful and to become joyful is to become praiseful and to become praiseful is to terminate the captivity of joy.

Joseph Campbell once said: “Find a place inside where there’s joy, and the joy will burn out the pain”. Your responsibility is to discover what you are joyful about and dedicate your life to it. What are you joyful about? Clarify it. That is the only place you will achieve astounding success. Many people today are working at jobs they are not happy about. They run businesses they are bored and depressed about and the results is mediocrity and ultimately failure. There is no joy for what they do and there is no joy behind their actions. It’s joy that attracts money into your life. It’s joy that pull resources in the direction of your dream. It’s joy that births your dream and makes it a reality. An intensity of joy is a weapon of attraction that pull down the unseen world to the manifestation of your reality. No wonder Franklin D. Roosevelt said “Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort”. Remember, you’re shaped by your thoughts; you become what you think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.
