Purpose As A Driving Force

Posted on Updated on

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says: “Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand” (Proverbs 19:21). One of the undeniable pathway to know yourself is to know your God-given purpose. You and your God are of the same nature. Your life here on earth will never make any meaning if you do not know yourself. To know yourself is to know your God. God said in His word many are the plans in a man’s heart but God’s purpose will prevail over all plans. The question is: What does that mean? It means that God is not interested in your plans. He is interested in His purpose for your life. You see, you come up with your own ideas of what you want to be and do. But God is saying “Wait a minute, tell me your plans first.” God is saying. “Before you make plans for your life, consult Me for your purpose.“ Plans are what you create. Purpose is what God established. Purpose is more important than plans. Your plans should come from God’s purpose. The purpose inside of you is a driving force of energy. You are unstoppable. Nothing on this planet earth can hold you down.

When you know your purpose, you begin to develop strange behaviour, your positive attitude begin to manifest because your passion gives you hope and your purpose gives you the answers to life. You begins to realized that you were designed and created to do something meaningful about your life. Passionate people generate zeal and enthusiasm for others. The measure of your passion comes from your vision. Vision is the greatest potential God gave to every man on this planet earth. You are to walk according to what is in your hearts. You are to let what is in your hearts suggest how you see life. When we have vision, we are control by the unseen world, which has the capacity to bring the future in your present and the reward comes effortlessly. Another question I want to ask is: How much happier can you be than to spend your time doing something that pleases you and pleases God? The answer is: You are pleased because you are carrying out God-given capacity. Other people are pleased because you are helping them to fulfill their God given purpose. You see, the truth about these is, if you help others achieve what they need, you will always have what you need. Remember, when you know your true purpose you no longer need external forces, your true purpose will motivate you for the rest of your life why because your passion wake you up every morning, fills you with great enthusiasm throughout the day and keep you excited by looking at the future with confidence.
