WELCOME BACK. The scripture says: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatia 6:10). Liberality is one of the prerequisite for genuine success and it’s the pathway to all happiness. Genuine successful men and women are successful because they are liberal and they understand the power and efficacy of giving freely. They see responsibility and a strong desire to get involved in finding solutions for some of the society’s most pressing problems. God further said in His word that a liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. So, what exactly does liberality mean? It means to have the capacity to do goodwill to one another. It also means the capacity to give and spend freely for the benefit of others. You have to recognize and embrace the fact that God wants to bless every good works of your life. You must realize that liberality is a divine gift and how you respond to that gift is entirely under your control. Liberality as the case may be, is a lifestyle of giving. It’s also one of the highest levels of living that is possible. We are givers because we believe in the principles of sowing and reaping and we learn to receive as well as give. We are blessed to be able to see the benefit of liberality.
One of the most vital decisions a person can take in life is to help someone navigate the difficulties of life to greatness. A man once said, “No one stands taller in the climb to success than the person who is willing to bend over to help someone else”. When you add value to the live of others by showing kindness and generosity you will benefit more than the recipient of your kindness and in the end you will provoke the favour of God upon your life. Liberality is a source of joy, and there is an incredible value in helping someone solve their problem. This lifestyle of giving freely cannot be gathered from sheer self-will, it must be gathered from the heart. If you are serious about developing a spirit of liberality and a lifestyle of sharing with others, you should begin now to do something every day to bless others. What you give doesn’t necessarily have to be money, but it does have to be something of value to you, something precious, something that cost you something. In the scripture David said “I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24). Don’t lean on your own feelings, because you’ll never feel like giving. And don’t surrender to your fear of lack, because fears will always haunt you. Instead, confront your fears and refuse to heed to them. Give freely, give regularly. Remember, giving is living.
