Life Purpose

WELCOME BACK. W. Clement Stone once said “When you discover your mission, you’ll feel its demand. It will fill you with enthusiasm and a burning desire to get to work on it”. It’s very encouraging to know that the world makes room for a person of purpose. The scripture says, A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. Those who succeeded in life are motivated by dynamic purpose. You see, you’re created to conquer challenges and oppositions, solve problems, and attain goals. You will find no real success in life without challenges to conquer, goals to achieve, and a purpose to fulfill. You were made on purpose, for a purpose. Many people say they want riches, what they really want is not riches but fulfillment of a purpose, why because happiness comes when you abandon yourself for a purpose. There are many successful men and women who have been dissatisfied with their achievement in life. They have pursue their goals, but have no fulfillment and continually ask why. Achievements without a sense of purpose are meaningless. Life without purpose leads to discouragement and emptiness.

A sense of purpose gives life meaning. It moves life beyond existence to a fulfilling and productive enhancement. If you don’t know your purpose, it is impossible to fulfill your destiny. Your purpose in life answers the questions such as: “what am I here on earth for”? What problem am I here to solve for humanity? We are all created by God with potentials, talents and abilities to solve a problem for mankind. We are problem solver. Providing solution to that problem is your purpose in life. What does that means. It means your purpose is what you must bring to make our world a better place. It also means that your purpose is what you will bring to make your vision a reality. It’s very, very important to identify your purpose because when purpose is not known, its abuse is inevitable. Apart from being abused, other consequences of failure to discover your purpose are lack of passion, waste of potential, talents and abilities. Your inner potential will lie dormant and untapped. This will ultimately lead to a life of mediocrity.
Remember, living life without purpose can be likened to a piece of paper floating in the air. It moves in whichever direction the wind blows. It’s like a man who set out on a journey without direction and when been asked, he said anywhere. My friend, anywhere is nowhere.
