Think Things Through

Albert Einstein once said: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them” and Early Nightingale also said: “Don’t wait for change, you change”. I am  convinced that one of the main reason people fail to get what they want out of life is because they haven’t decided what they want. In other words, they haven’t defined their desires in details. I have learned that it’s impossible for a man to leave where he is until he first decides where he would rather be. To change your life, you have to change your thinking. Decide exactly what it’s you want to do and where it’s you want to end up. Believe it or not most people never do this much. Most people just wish their lives away and talk boringly about those things they are going to do. Such as, one of these days, “I am going to start a business”. But the person of greatness who is discontented with where he is will determine exactly where he want to go and will not lie to himself about the necessary things he must do to get there.

What do you think about your life? Specifically, you need to write down what you are trying to achieve in as much as achieving them. You can think of achieving the dream you have written down by the deadline you have set for yourself. Those who think good thoughts are always in demand and those who knows how, may always have a job. But those who knows why, always be their boss. Good thinkers are problem solver. They never lack ideas to build their conglomerate, they always prime the pump of ideas, they always look for things to get the thinking process started, because what you put in always impacts what comes out. Read good books that will enhance your knowledge of understanding. Listen to audio tapes and spend time with great achievers. The scripture of the book of Proverbs said: sharp people sharpen iron. If you want to be a sharp thinkers, be around sharp people as I always do. All the people in my life whom I selected as my friends and colleagues are thinkers, I try to emulate from them by following their steps and that makes me to be kind to everyone I meet on my ways and I desires to add value to as many people as I can through seminar, books, and audio tapes. Because the people I choose to spend time with all challenge me with their thinking and their actions.

To begin the thinking process, you cannot only rely on your feelings. If you wait until you feel like doing something in your life, you will likely never do it. It’s true. You can never wait until you feel like thinking to do it. I discover in my life that once you engage in the process of good thinking, you can use your emotions to feed the process and create what I called mental momentum.

Thanks SO much for stopping by! I so believe what you have written in this wonderful post… This can apply to those in recovery from addiction.

” I have learned that it’s impossible for a man to leave where he is until he first decides where he would rather be. To change your life, you have to change your thinking. Decide exactly what it’s you want to do and where it’s you want to end up.”

In recovery, we need to decide if we want to continue living in “hell” of the depths of addiction, or live a healthy beautiful life in FREEDOM within Recovery!

    Great Post ~ Blessings!
