I want to share with you how to strengthen others with your gift and rank high irrespective of  economic recession. John M. Gardner once said: “some people strengthen others just by being the kind of people they are”. The bible said: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in it’s various forms. It gets me thinking when I see people still in the same spot, for a long time. It makes me wonder if they are investing in their mind.

Your mind is more critical than your muscles. You need to place priority on investing in your minds, people get stuck in any rut when they refused to learn. I make up my mind that my outer self will never catch-up my inner-self.  To achieve greatness, you have to pay the price. You can choose to pay now and play later or to play now and pay later.

I want to challenge you to stretch your mind. Learn something new each day that will relate to your field. Benjamin Franklin who had only two years of formal education, he stopped school at the age of ten, because there was no more to further his education. He taught himself how to read and write. The same man is the one that founded what is called “Franklin Stone”  Bi-focal lets. It’s the lightening rod that is used today in buildings, he invented it. The same man who had only two years of education also founded a university called the university of Pennsylvania in America. He also founded a sophisticated hospital that is still functioning till today. What made him, he developed his mind. He stretched his mind and developed a reading habit.

A great philosopher said: Human mind is like a rubber band that can be stretch. In the African culture people read only to pass exams. After that no more reading, if you see someone reading know that he has exams to write that’s the belief of an average African man. In my years of experience, I have discovered that men who have made impact to in various field of endeavour are reader. “Until you are a reader you can never be a leader”.

Thank you for reading to this end, see you again  for another interesting and soul uplifting spiritual and universal principles. Don’t miss it. Make your comment below and please share or like this post.

You will succeed!
